Jessica Nigri Voices Super Sonico’s English Dub

American cosplay celebrity Jessica Nigri has been announced as the voice actor of busty Sonico for the upcoming English dub of Nitroplus mascot anime Super Sonico – quite the surprise to viewers, as likely none were knowledgeable of her dormant voice acting prowess, though in at least one huge regard she seems perfectly cast.

Whether or not Nigri will be able to pull off an acceptable performance remains to be seen, though considering the quality of most English dubs she faces a low bar to success – the English dub will arrive May 26th on BD and DVD.

Pretty much this in a nutshell. Most of the comments she receives on her cosplay is about her boobs. Honestly, I think people love her boobs more than her as a person.

Well she already voiced a character in an Web-animation series from Rooster Teeth called RWBY.
The character name is Cinder Fall. She's one of the main antagonists.
She did an OK performance too. But the character simply has too few lines and the directory is a total amateur so it's hard to really judge her on that.
Besides Cinder and Sonico are completely different characters so there is no comparison.
But if this means more skimpy cosplay from Jessica I think it's worth a shot!

I know nothing about this person, but it's amusing to see people argue about her outward appearance and boob job, as if you can hear them through her voice acting.
It's the perfect role for her. If anyone's angry about this, I would wonder why. It's not like Super Sonico is a deep and layered character.

Sentai Filmworks probably got this show as a package deal with something else. There's no way any licensor would drop serious money on this show, it flopped in Japan.

jesus, you're not supposed to wear your skirt that low. The exposed hip shouldn't be wider than the skirt waistline. It makes your torso look longer and it looks terrible even from a skank perspective. The lowest you're supposed to wear it at the widest point of the hip to give the illusion of wider hips , and adjust the skirt's length if you want to go for sluttiness. Then again, she doesn't really have any hips to speak of.
And nothing personal against Nigri, but Mayu Kawamoto (the Japanese girl above) pulls it off better even though she looks nothing like Juliet.
