A new trailer has been unleashed for the upcoming 2nd episode of Levi-centric Shingeki no Kyojin OAD “Kuinaki Sentaku“, further detailing Levi’s perilous past and giving fans more insight into the cold assassin’s fateful back-story.

The animated bonus should prove to be a meaningful distraction from the wait for the rather distant launch date for the show’s highly anticipated 2nd season – the OAD will be bundled with the 16th volume of the manga and arrive April 9th.

Unless they do filler they need to wait on some content from the manga. As hugely popular as Shingeki ended up being its just a matter of waiting.
Its pretty nuts for an anime to have a 2nd season greenlit so far in advance though. Usually they wait until the source has enough material before they consider viability.
