Some of you guys are aware that the Japanese consider pale skin to be attractive & that geishas & courtesans used to use make-up on their faces for that pale look?
We may think it's weird looking, inhuman looking, creepy looking, or even hideous, but they are thinking that it's beautiful, elegant, & sublime.
Japanese men might still prefer pale skin, but they also don't approve of too much makeup like most others. Also, there's a difference between naturally pale and fake paleness.
I am very pale myself and if I were to plaster my face in powder and shit I'd look like the dead (or some visual kei, goth, whatever^^)
And someone would still think you looked hot. I'm just sayin' that some people actually like that look, so we shouldn't be surprised or horrified that there are people willing to sport that look.
Still looks better than the fakes that Japan sends to Miss World/Universe/Earth/whatever.
Another cosplayer that has caked their face in makeup to a point it looks unnatural in some images. Can't some of these cosplayers just rely on natural beauty instead of doing this? Or are they really that bad without a layer of makeup on?
