yay to no nips
Once again, I love the design and simple coloring.
looks like Queen’s blade with censorship
There’s no censorship, or any nudity at all, really. The cloud in front of the guy’s crotch there is a gag.
if only the charlie hebdo cartoons had the level of insult this show has, I could have understood the massacre.
Except this show is fairly factual, so it’s not really insulting. The Church did finger Joan of Arch to see if she was a virgin, then burned her as a which, and gay relationships were common with Monks
The same can be said to Charlie Hebdo being factual.
So you consider an anime with witches and succubus factual?
while there is no denying the guilt of the church, your statement that
gay relationships between monks has no basis, specially considering
it was considered a crime, since the times of Christian emperor Theodosius, and this could lead to be burned at the stake. while there might be cases, it is simply foolish to claim something so boldly as you did,
the way the show addresses such themes, is rather excessive, not all monks could have been that way or the church would have ended centuries ago. taking some actions as the norm against a group is prejudice. and both you and the producers of this show have taken that path.
if they wanted to point the crimes of the church at that time, they should have chosen the inquisition, instead of something more based in current times, than something that falls in the realm of speculation.
Wow do you really pick and choose what history to believe and reject.
Augustine in the early 400s articulated the Catholic views on the problem regarding predatory priests.
Pope Innocent III (1160-1216) helped cover it up by saying: “Nothing more is accomplished by a good priest and nothing less by a wicked priest, because it is accomplished by the word of the Creator and not the merit of the priest. Thus the wickedness of the priest does not nullify the effect of the sacrament, just as the sickness of a doctor does not destroy the power of his medicine. Although the ’doing of the thing (opus operans)’ may be unclean, nevertheless, the ’thing which is done (opus operatum)’ is always clean.”
To say homosexuality and pedophila is a new problem is really turning a blind eye to the history of the church and organized religion.
Dat ASS!
