Get rid of the useless boys and this series could've been even better.

Huh.... forgive me if I seem outlandish by saying this but.... what's with all the rage/hype around K-On?
Granted, it wasn't LOLOMGWTF awesome, but wasn't cringe-inducing either (my opinion, just so we're clear).
And this series is literally one of the only ones out there that makes me have an extreme burst of anticipation, excitement, and impatience for the next episode; a rarity considering that, like most American TV shows, anime's kinda starting to suck lately.

While I agree that getting laid by them all shouldn't be top priority (it makes for a lame perverted MC), it at least should be on the list. A harem style anime has to have SOME sexual tension and a glimmer of hope that the harem will actually be achieved, after all.
Cinque doesn't have to try to get laid by them all. Many, if not all, of them already want to be laid by him. Cinque just isn't interested, only that "Demon King" guy is.

There's nothing wrong with male characters. It's just that 95% of them tend to suck and be awfully written. Anime writers have forgotten how to make cool or relevant male characters.
Good thing the "anime writer" has done nothing more than take the already existing light novel and simply adapted it into a anime, right?
