The male is a Rito or a Tomoki.
If your focus is on the male protagonist, this show is not for you.
The problem is that Rito-like characters ruin the experience with so much cringe.
I mean imagine a porn where the guy is always shying out of doing anything, and now matter how much you watch nothing happens (and this is why I couldn't help but drop To Love-Ru, nothing happens! Just fuck them already you useless bastard!).
Agreed, but Tomoki-likes are not better, the fact of the matter is that male protagonist have little purpose in harem shows except being audience surrogates.
