I remember a ova series of this title, from 199X.
Those are gold compared to these. Why not continue the original OVAs?, Those were real jewels and were so good.
Now they are going to reboot the OVAs with the unappealing style of the Mangaka of FMA, that is shit and will be shit. If someone disagree then reply me in years for these new OVAs to cover the already covered for the far superior originals.

I really doubt Silver Spoon had the expectations of a big shounen title like FMA did, it's a slice of life, those hardly get the big followings of the monster manga hits. I think it did really well considering it was slice of life genre.

Hm... the old Arslan Senki (1991) wasn't all that bad. Just a little generic and without memorable characters. Also, the story was ludicrous and it had more gay looking characters than I care for.
