Kei-designed Hokkaido mascot Kitano Kamui is set to make her musical debut courtesy of Nippon Colombia – although this will likely slip under the radar of all but the dedicated of fans considering her insignificant existence.
Kitano was originally created in April 2013 and to advertise Hokkaido culture – though her creators apparently want to try promoting her more along the lines of a Vocaloid, which is ironic considering her designer was none other than the legendary Hatsune Miku illustrator, Kei.
Kitano’s CD single will be titled “Seeno! de Ohayouteizan” and will arrive January 28th – pre-orders are currently open as well.
