Saitama’s ill-fated and now Lucky Star dedicated Washinomiya Shrine has once again set-up an anime-inspired New Year’s event, beckoning otaku from far and wide to buy up more trinkets themed after the aged KyoAni classic, and now Grisaia as well.
The shrine not only boasted decor relevant to Lucky Star but also of the recently aired Grisaia no Kajitsu in promotion of its upcoming 2nd season – with the nearby shopping district getting in on the marketing campaign too.

What can you say? Anime sells. You gotta do what you gotta do to attract sales.
2D is love.
2D is justice.
2D is life.
How do you hook up with a cg-image?
On the other hand, I can already image the interesting conversations you could have with your flat-as-a-paper-sheet waifu:
You: How was your day, honey?
waifu:…….
You: Why are you so quiet?
waifu:…..
You: Mmmm…I see..
waifu:……
The old guy that ran the restaurant just infront of the shrine was great, gave us a full out free meal because we were the first white people to ever visit. Good times.
The old man was nice, but he lied to you lol
So business savvy….
