Whether or not the series will live up to the reputation of the previous KyoAni music sensation K-ON! or the notoriety of Free! and Tamako Market is of course likely to exercise thousands of fans in pointless if entertaining Internet flamewars for some months to come – Hibike! All I can say is who gives a flying shit? really k-on was fucking boring as all hell. The only one thing it had going for it was the girls were cute. Which is not hard to find in other anime's that are actually intersting.
