Compile Heart’s official Hyperdimension Neptunia poll gave fans the opportunity to vote for their favorite disturbingly sexualized game console or developer girl, with the winner to perhaps be granted her own game, and so with 200,000 votes case finally the results are in.

Nintendo’s console representative Blanc won the poll by a very large margin, probably due to fans voting against the other heroines who have lead their own games, and while a game is not guaranteed, the previous poll winner Noire did receive a game for Vita that was released in Japan and is due to come to NA and EU next year.
And as for more Nepu news, Idea Factory president Yoshiaki Sato recently stated in a Famitsu interview that Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth1 and Fairy Fencer F are coming to Steam in English, though no official press announcement has been made just yet.

This wasn't meant as a popularity poll, but one who was going to be the protagonist in the next game. Since Noire just got her own, it shouldn't be all that surprising someone else got the top billing this time. Don't worry, Noire-sama is still #1 in our hearts.

It was a popularity contest meant just as marketing for VII. There is no guarantee that Blanc will be the protagonist in a future release. All Compile Heart did is tease about the possibility of that happening, but I doubt the poll was going to decide anything.
They should turn V pan's EXTASY's "Sister Trick" doujin into a game, that will show 'em!

Glad that Japanese game developers and publishers are giving the PC market more love aside from VNs and indie games. Naruto, Dragonball, MGSV, DOA5, SFV, One Piece, and finally Neptunia.
