Gintama fans can rejoice knowing that the recently debuted Gintama movie “Gintama: The Movie: The Final Chapter: Be Forever Yorozuya” is not the actual finale to the legendary samurai comedy, as a new anime has been announced to premier in April of next year.
The new season was revealed at the Gintama stage event during Jump Festa 2015, with several attendees reporting the exciting news via Twitter – the event also had some Gintama cosplayers on display:
Profits being what they are a real end to the franchise seems unlikely at this point.
