Criminal Girls: Invite Only Trailer Revealed

A new trailer has been released for the upcoming western translation of delinquent RPG Criminal Girls: Invite Only, “revealing” the game’s famous punishment scenes – which look likely to provoke another surge of outraged white knighting from the non-Japanese gaming media mafia.
NIS America has pointed out that some changes had to be made in order for the game to arrive in the US – likely referring to the sexually explicit punishment scenes where players can tastefully spank their party members into obtaining levels.

Wrong. The first image is a final level of the mini game. NISA's image is the initial level. The fog clears as you clear mini game levels. So much ignorance in this comment section.

Funimation brought over Dance in the Vampire Bund, and had no problems not censoring it.

Funimation isn't a good example to look towards as they've censored blu-ray discs at least a few times at this point.
Sankaku will still shill for them and NISA though, despite both of them bringing their respective industries down concerning Japanese material in the west.
Funimation even released Sankarea censored on DVD/BD(Used Broadcast editions), promised fans they would release uncensored, but nothing over a year later. They claimed it was a mistake but I call bullshit, they knew what they were doing. This is why I won't pre order a Funimation series until someone has verified its uncensored.

I was going to say you're wrong but then I checked the funi dub version of ep 2, that scene with kobato in one of sena's h-games uses the tv broadcast version which zooms closer to kobato instead of the version where we can see a guy plowing her. So now I know Funi will show loli nudity but not loli sex even if it's softcore.

Look on the Amazon.com Sankarea BD page. There's a 1 star review with 117 of 122 upvotes. The 5 downvotes were Funimation fanboys, that's how important the issue of censorship is to people.
NIS America should just submit the game uncensored to ESRB. If they want changes so be it, but they look less like pussies by going this route rather than being scared shitless of the politically correct and feminists(Both the male and female kind..) kicking up a fuss.

Yeah, they're really shooting themselves in the foot by censoring games that would normally appeal to a fanbase of which quite a few members have at least some decent understanding of Japanese anyway. It's made all the worse for them when said games are on region-free systems.

Besides, I played the original. Understood pretty much everything that was going on and even made it to the "post game" or something. The thing you can unlock after you've seen the credits. Never beat the post game bosses, though. Tough fuckers are tough and by that point I kinda lost interest anyway.
Rather play post game of Etrian Odyssey I-III ^^
