Kinoko Collection Announced “Girls as Fungus?”

As the massive notoriety of kanmusu upgrade-’em-up Kantai Collection continues to boom, so too does the growth of imitators desperately trying to leech off the game’s success with sub-par parodies – “Kinoko Collection” being the latest of them and quite bizarrely basing their girls off of various forms of fungus.

A couple of the game’s potentially mycotoxin laden girls:

Other girls as well as more intricate details concerning gameplay have been promised to be revealed at a later date.

Kinoko Collection has plans for a web release as well as one for smartphone platforms – whether the game will fair any better than even crappier imitations no one can say for sure.
