Hidan no Aria AA Anime Announced

A new anime has been announced for gun-girl series Hidan no Aria and is being adapted from “Project Code AA”, a side-series that was previously unveiled along with an associated light novel and manga – and bound to provide more of the bullet blazing action so staple to the series.

Those craving more of the same old girls with guns mix will hardly be dissatisfied, though whether or not tsundere queen Kugimiya Rie will reprise her role as the heroine may yet make or break the new anime.

How could Tsunderie NOT be reprising her role. She was voicing a background character in OreTwi.
Rentaro and Enju are a better gun and twintail duo than Kinji and Aria.
Except Enju isn't a romantic interest, so Aria wins.
Poor Enju. She fancies herself the love interest when in reality she's forever stuck with the 'imouto' label.
I'd say more of the daughter role, she just has to grow into it, much like how young girls have that "I want to marry papa" phase.

Except he's not her papa.
So that's not working. It's only loli shaming how it is.
Damn.
And here Kugimiya was getting more and more of non loli tsundere character.
Give her a break. She's been voicing so many tsundere loli that she's probably sick of it by now.
HAS voiced. Compared to the larger numbers from before, she hasn't been voicing that many as of late.
Finally.
I've re-watched the first season last month. More than about time I'd say.
I just noticed this is the manga one... which I read years ago.
I hope it has enough Shirayuki
if it's the side material, it's aria, her yuri stalker, and the stalker's buddies. not a particularly good manga.
not that the main material is all the fantastic either.
at least, for all the fans who break out into hives every time there is a guy in some show they are watching, the regular mc isn't around all that much.
Havent seen any appearances of shirayuki in the manga yet, riko, kinji and reki so far have made an appearance
Shame they didn't want to make a Hidan No Aria Season 2. The material is there.
Reminds me of how Hayate the Combat Bulter stopped being interesting after they switched to the side-story...
(I know that being a fan of that show 70+ episodes, and suddenly getting that... hugely disappointed.)
And then there's the Raigun side-story...
In my opinion, that may have been great for the girl's point of view, but for someone who got into Index, having the side story instead of an Index III kind of killed the show for me.
I'm sure this will be no different. For those who like continuations, I'm guessing this will be a pointless reintroduction.

Another fanservice anime without actual fanservice.
The lack of fanservice is just the final nail in the coffin for HnA. Calling it forgettable would be being kind.
... I suppose you could get Flat-service... I mean Fan-service. Loli-fest.
the 5th tsundere wonder is making a comeback
This could be good. Will be disappointed if Kugimiya does not reprise. If they tweak the character design just slightly to be more like the VN illustrations, then this will be very cute. Also this series does need more ecchi in it.
