*FHA Spoilers* No, most likely not. Soichiro-sensei is a human of no renown. He was trained until 20 to be an assassin. Even then, after killing only a single target, he abandoned that life and became a teacher instead. He's hardly HEROIC spirit material.
Besides, if we're talking about humans who can fight Heroic Spirits, Aoko Aozaki is more than a match.
Besides which, in all three routes, there is not supposed to be another Holy Grail War after this one.
(That said, Soichiro's "abandoning that life" involved a fairly high body count, so he might be a legend in some parts. And it's nice to think that he and Caster were somehow reunited at the Throne of Heroes.)

There are countless others, including the one on the moon. At least a couple of them are powerful enough to support a Grail War.
He's was about to beat Saber around thanks to Caster's Reinforcement.
Also I don't think he will be able to thrash Saber like that again because his fighting abilities is only that effective in a first fight against someone.
Heroic spirit of Tohno/Nanaya Shiki is better.
I fully support a heroic spirit Tohno/Nanaya as the assassin class. Mystic Eyes of death perception ftw.
Btw, Soichiro abandoned his life as an assassin after just one kill.
I agree Aoko Aozaki can beat the fuck out of any Heroic Spirits given her magic type and the small consumption of mana she can use to use em all
He could only become berserker or assassin. But true assassins are all Hassan-i-Sabah so he's probably going to be berserker if he does. But then he has no fame at all. Archer was at least famous in the future but Souichirou? Not at all.
GREATEST ANIMATION SO FAR...
Every time a new episode is released I get even more amazed with the high quality of its animation. It's simply awesome!
I'm kind of wishing I hadn't seen the movie that came out 4 years ago.
At the time, I was kind of impressed, but the animation in places the movie in its grave.
There's just no comparison.
-.- I just hope there's at least a little bit of a surprise, because otherwise I already know everything that is going to happen and in the order that it's all going to happen. So much for suspense...
well they ARE going over the exact same route. The only difference will most likely be the Sexual mana replenishment. As that scene literally had no purpose and could have been something of less sexual nature.
Other than that, you'll actually get to see more great scenes since the entire route was condensed into a short movie.
the movie was only loosely made after the original story - you will see alot of new things in this series.

After the first show, where everyone but one died, why were the 234792 shows and movies?
Because it's a safe bet to keep remaking the same mediocre story as long as it has a rabid fanbase, since production values keep getting better and that's all those fans really care about.
It's not like they can break the mould and improve upon the story, after all, because the fans would view that with contempt no matter how and the source material is (and anime studios couldn't write an original script to save their lives).
So we're stuck with the same crappy scenarios over and over again, unless some superstar like Gen decides to breathe some life into it with another so-so prequel.
Why are you even here if you don't like the Fate series?
You know, it's funny; "as long as it has a rabid fanbase." seem to sum up the general opinion of the series, so opinions like your own that feel it's "mediocre" are minor at best.
also I hate to break it to you, but there is no such thing as originality - everything is based off something else that already exsists.
Actually, there's still 1 more and production of it is held back because it's the best of the franchise. So.. yeah, good luck with UBW!

Im so glad this is the first time i've seen this series as far as starting from Fate Zero then this one. So awesome. Totatally did not seeing saber getting her ass handed to her overwhelmingly hard by a master.
Really cool we have a master that could potentially kill a heroic spirit. Now looking back that might just be how rider got fucked up so bad. Can't really think of another Spirit out side of beserker who could do that to her neck...... lol fun thought if Only this guy and Beserker teamed up would be fun to watch.
