Mecha harem anime Infinite Stratos is receiving a PC game entitled “Infinite Stratos: Versus Colors”, allowing players to assume the role of any of the show’s lovely ladies (or the highly feminine if less lovely generic beta male protagonist if they prefer) and take part in peerless mecha-on-mecha combat.
Created by visual novel developer 5pb, Infinite Stratos: Versus Colors will be a 3D action-fighter where players will maneuver the show’s iconic IS mecha, with details of gameplay mechanics yet to be disclosed – though internet multiplayer has been revealed as a means of play for those interested in taking their IS piloting skills online.

The game is slated to arrive December 31st, though more eager fans can snag a copy early by visiting 5pb’s booth during C87.

I would have been blown away if a PSX(PS1) game looked this good, these are at least PSV level graphics.

You'll have to remember that most anime related games have low budgets and a short development cycle.

Or even a story mode with a customizable heroine. Should be easy to add a new "representative candidate transfer student" and with stamp art like they use so much these days, not even graphics would be that costly or difficult to make.
Heck, if I could ask for more, even custom IS system like Mechwarrior or Armored Core could make this a great game, without counting on the franchise to sell.
