Illinois furry convention “Midwest Furfest” was recently the target of a poison gas incident, though police are seemingly yet to establish whether it is a “hate-crime” against the much put upon minority or some sort of internal feud.
Investigations have led police to believe that the poison leak may have been intentional as a broken container was found in a stairwell, which was suspected of housing a chlorine-containing substance.
As a result of the gas, 19 people were hospitalized with minor complaints. No serious injuries were reported.
Despite the rather hazardous event, the convention managed to resume normal operation the following day – although possibly future events will find venues even more reluctant to host them as a result.
Well done, too bad it didn’t stop them.

Far be it from me to racially profile, but I’d be looking at one of the skunk furries for this… Just sayin’…
What if they are aliens that breath poison gas and hide inside animal suits and one of them had a leakage in his poison gas tank.
