There hasn't been any recent translation of the manga since the anime came out, so we don't what the differences is between the anime ending and what is to come in the manga.
Also the anime just skipped a lot of shit, so the ending is speculated to be different than the anime, but who knows.
There has. Manga-wise, Mein (or however the anime butchered her name) is still alive. The latest chapter was tense, but nobody's died as of yet. Currently it's Esdee and that royal guard dude vs all of Night Raid.
Though it is revealed Esdee was planning on faking Tatsumi's death and rescuing him afterwards, but she's since nixed that plan.
She probably will die in the manga also, been foreshadowing for awhile now.
The manga reached that right around the time the anime came out. I meant that since the anime was released, there hasn't been any groups really translating it. So any point after Mine arrives to save tatsumi + night raid and fights, we have no idea what else is going on so there's a probability of her not dying and the anime's ending just completely different from the manga's.

The anime started to diverge from the manga during Episode 19--they changed how Borick was assassinated.
Then episode 20 skipped around 10 manga chapters, including the part where Tatsumi and Mine become a couple.
The manga is currently in the Tatsumi rescue arc...
Well as soon they started going out it was pretty much her death flag, not to mention that her name isn't in the title. As much as I love Anime/Manga they do tend to fall into predictable patterns, so it was to be expected she would die.
No doubt an unexpected end, the question is whether the manga will have something identical to a certain character ... (in my opinion lose teigu was enough)

Mine's death logic is beyond explanation. You have characters that had their arms cut off, bled out and still survive but Mine only had a few cuts and bruises yet she died??? The girl with the pet dog survived longer with her lower body cut off.
