English language Blu-ray releases of all seasons of A Certain Magical Index, Railgun and its associated movie are finally being released, and to celebrate this Funimation are offering the chance to win a stack of goodies…

Why can't Funimation ever die!? I REALLY WANT THIS SHITTY COMPANY TO FUCKING DIE OUT ALREADY.
Funimation used to be a small time company back when ADV films had a majority share of the market, unfortunately ADV made a lot of bad choices and Funimation inherited a bunch of their licenses and pocketed the $$$. They were a company that funded much of what they licensed off the DBZ sales.
Anyway their business model which works, is to sell cheap and offer the DVD/BD versions in one package if applicable, people buy it up and they make $$$.
Section 23 aka ADV Films hasn't quite caught on with the Funimation method of business and aren't really much in the way of competition.
Lastly Funimation won't die because they offer their shit cheap just like how people want it.
I want Funimation to die becasue they forced ADV, Geneon, and Bandi out of business and then bought up their scraps. that's Monopolizing. Not to mention that Greg Ayres is a fucking asshole. I know from personal experience.
not realy. ADV spent far too much money on several shows that weren't worth the price they paid, they stretched themselves too thin trying to do too much and something about a deal with Sojitz going south all lead to them filing for bankruptcy. not funi's fault
Geneon were dumb asses and bought too many shows that would never sell and dubbed all of them. they were spending money they didn't have. so naturally they went out of business. not funi's fault
Bandai Entertainment were actually doing well, but their parent company in Japan, Bandai Visual, didn't think they were good enough. So, they shut Bandai Ent. down with very little advance notice. Not funi's fault.
And to touch on the last topic, what does Greg Ayres have to do with Funimation anyway? He's just a voice actor. He's done extensive work for both Funimation and ADV, not to mention now Sentai as well. Furthermore, he's not even in any of these series mentioned here.
Greg Ayres is just a long serving VA for ADV and Funimation who has a sense of self importance, likely from the sycophants who massage his ego. He's also one of those who seems to blame fansubs for poor sales, when in reality fansubs help with sales.
As much as a hate Funimation, at least their not like those JEWS at Sony's Aniplex.

THEN say things like "Well I buy the merch associated with the show that's my support" Meaning the corporations see the show itself isn't selling but it's related merch is they just keep with the merch

Come back from the 90's there hasn't been censorship in DVD/BD for a very long time. I should know since FUNimation released both Freezing and HighSchool DXD with no censorship whatsoever

Funimations Railgun Season 2 dub was kinda shitty. The actress that played Kuroko in the final episode was so awful. She had no spirit in her proclamation to those dudes attacking with the powered suits she was so Zzzzz worthy. You know when Kurukos like I'm Kuroko Shirai yadda yadda ya before all hell breaks loose :P
