Capcom has announced Street Fighter 5 exclusively for PC and PS4, sure to be drawing applause from normal and competitive players alike – and with devout Xbox One owners likely seething for once again being left in the dust.
While a short teaser trailer for the game was originally released, it has been consistently removed for one reason or another – thus the only footage available of the upcoming fighting game are screenshots and gifs:
With even a PC release, Capcom seem to have completely written off the Xbox One – more information regarding Street Fighter 5 will be released at a later date.

HAHAHA YOU'RE SO FUNNY! No one has every told that joke before!
In all seriousness, you're a scrub.
butthurt capcum fanboy detected
@17:08
truth hurt? manbaby
You have to admit, that joke is older than AOL. I think a call for a new material is justified.
@20:54
AOL was founded in 1985.
Eh, nothing wrong with being a scrub.
Especially when playing with friends just for laughs.
so original you should compose something intelligent
We'll start writing new jokes with which to mock Capcom when they start producing new stuff for us to mock... Ergo, when Capcom no longer throws out new, updated, re-released versions of their games every half a year and gives us something more original to mock, we'll stop mocking them for throwing out new, updated, re-released versions of their games every half a year and move on to something else. (Seriously, it says something about the way Capcom does things when TV-Tropes has a trope for when companies do this and calls it "Capcom Sequel Stagnation".)
thats not gonna happen we already know this stuff is gonna come as patch updates
i am intrigued as to shy capcom is not releasing SFV for the xbone? was there not a large 360 installed base? im not a competitive player so i dont and cant actually use an arcade stick and the 360's "d-pad" doesnt cut it for me so i played it on the ps3 last gen, just me though
Supposedly Sony offered Capcom a pretty penny to keep it exclusive to their system, and with Capcom's financial issues lately who were they to refuse I guess
Which tells alot about the xbox - despite their holdings, they didn't seize the opportunity. I think they're pretty much banked on CoDs and BF and a fuck ton of shooter games.
Dead Rising 3 says hello
Of course, it probably won't be long before SFV gets released on the XBox as well. Even if it's more than just timed exclusive, Street Fighter releases many editions of each of their games, and you can bet the "Super" version will appear on the system within a year or so.
Look up the xbone sales figures in Japan. News flash it isn't many. Think there re more in Road Island then in Japan.
doesn't matter; japanese console market is dead
Could say the same to Death Rising 3, dude
Forgot Dead Rising 3 (PC and Xbone) already. That's exact same reason.
Dead or Alive Last Round is coming out for PC on Steam as well or is Rift fapping himself away after hearing the news?
In other news, Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is coming to Steam. Furthermore, the more pre-orders it gets, the more bonuses those who pre-ordered will get at launch.
Mortal Kombat X, Tekken 7, and Street Fighter V. All we need now is Dead or Alive 6.
Was about to pre-order it until I noticed there's no Japanese audio.
But there is...
Did you not click on "See all 8 supported languages" button in the game's store page? There IS Japanese full audio.
All we need now is a new IPS instead of milking the same ones for decades.
FYI, the Steam release of DOA5 will be an incomplete product. Netplay will not be available from the get-go; it will be patched in, 3 MONTHS after release.
>He thinks that we care about the lack of netplay.
Oh that's right, there's no difference between online and offline DOA. Both versions are still the same broken pieces of shit.
Actually, they say it will be patched in "within" 3 months of release. Meaning, it could be significantly less than that.
I suppose they have to set up and test special servers for it, as opposed to just using ones provided by Microsoft and Sony on the consoles. Of course, you'd think they could have that ready in time considering there's still over 2 months before release. Maybe they just want to avoid having a bunch of people crashing their server on day one, and figure that quietly releasing the online mode days or weeks later will prevent that. It's certainly better than not releasing the game on the platform at all though.
I want a new 2D Street Fighter game.
Like SF 5 here?
I think he meant like SF 3 Alpha(manualy drawn), the best streetfighter game yet. SF 4 plays good but looks awfull and this is even worse
3rd Strike is still king when it comes to 2D fighting game sprites. SF4 looks like garbage in comparison.
I didn't like character design in 3rd strike, alpha is for me the best fighting game ever, 3rd strike was also too flashy and stuff, overdone effects etc
CvS2 da best.
NO, because snk suxass, i hate all these mix of x vs y
yatagarasu release soon
Yeah, I'd be lying if I said I cared. SFIV sucked. And so will this.
IT'S TIME FOR XBOT TO GET BUTTHURT, DON'T FORGET XBONE "EXCLUSIVE" DEAD RISING 3. LMAO
It's on PC too, but don't matter, that game sucked.
I think that's why he said "exclusive"
*sigh* *sob* *sob* then a will have to play SF5 in my PC and Rise of the Tomb Raider on my Xbox One. Oh the humanity!!
DEEP DOWN WHEN???
It's cool; SFV will just be another public beta release.
i wait fo ultra mega alpha super hyper 3rd strike
new challegner chanpion edition @ ex plus street fighter V
Will this game come out for the PC2?
my goodness, they look like plastic model kits! They should stick to old animated movie designs and Gah,Chun-li's hands...ugh.
Kent and Barbie look more humans to thats shitts models plop
Xbone is fossil.
Graphics look shitty, worse than SFIV. The colors just look drab. It's like they weren't even trying and were content to just churn out another entry with generic video game graphics.
The babes are hot tho
