Revered songstress Utada Hikaru, known for her musical contributions to the Kingdom Hearts franchise, has created a new album with involvement from Final Fantasy kingpin Tetsuya Nomura and the team behind Evangelion – the Eva team have also dedicated a video to one of Utada’s songs set to scenes from the “Rebuild of Evangelion”.

The album, “Utada Hikaru no Uta”, will contain a variety of cover songs alongside a multitude of other musical talents such as Hamasaki Ayumi, Hanaregumi and KIRINJI – it will hit stores December 9th.

It was revealed in the last chapter of Eva manga that Mari was Ikari Yui's kouhai, which puts her in her late 30s and her 40s (possibly 50s) for the third movie after the time skip. She's practically a legit cougar. Thank god repeated LCL exposure keeps eva pilots young or they'd have to start animating pilots that look older than a teenager. *shudders*
