Esteemed Puzzle & Dragons developer GungHo Online Entertainment has recently announced plans of a collaboration with post-apocalyptic classic Fist of the North Star, sure to be regarded as rather bizarre choice of collaboration…

Japanese social game sensation Puzzle & Dragons involves addictive fast-paced “puzzle solving” and rather more importantly contains opportunities for players to spend real-world money – perfect for milking fans of Fist of the North Star.

Unfortunately, no information has been made available concerning just what the collaboration will be about or when it is expected – although it can hardly end worse than GungHo’s Hokuto MMORPG, long since put out of its misery back in 2009.

How is this collab bizarre when Puzzle&Dragons have already had several popular anime collabs already? DBZ, HunterxHunter, Evangelion, and Saint Seiya have all gotten similar treatment. Hell, they even did a DC/Batman collab. What is actually "bizarre" is the lack of JJBA, though I'm sure its an inevitability at this poiny including the other mainstream manga franchises.
