Another view I read is that anime, hentai, all that created an image of a impossibly perfect, sexy girlfriend that his real one couldn't so he left her and now his obsessions have left him broken and deprived of relationships. This is why the cyan-haired girls and the clone of his girlfriend are overflowing with sexual energy way past the point of too much.
Either way, this video is a criticism against the way anime has gone recently, and the otaku subculture it has created, and the dark spiral it can become.
I've read some people dismiss this video because it's created by people who profit off of that otaku subculture, but anime is a business and they create their work to make money. But that doesn't mean they can't occasionally speak what's really on their minds.
It is clearly a criticism to how demonic woman are and that they will devour you without being able to resist, this is why his girlfriend turned evli and ate him. Remember, 3DPD not even once.
Isn't that undermined a bit by how much of a beauty the real girlfriend is? She could be easily the star of any VN or shitty bishoujo anime; apparently what this short is criticizing. The difference between her and the blue-haired clones is only one of degrees.
That is a bit of a representation, though. That part is not as clearly conveyed because as with most artistic works they don't like to hold your hand through it. The fact that it can represent both elements of it being a comment on anime's spiraling, and also some people interpreting it the other way, whether ironically or realistically, is mainly a mirror for you to perceive how you think of reality. For me it's showing what could be for anyone in the otaku lifestyle, the blatant nature of the sexuality escalating from provocative dancing and shots to the essentially grotesque nature of the endlessly repeating odd shots of the pierced clitoratti (had to go with Stewie's word, too perfect) to me at least escalated well. It was attractive at first and eventually became too much, and as an animator I noticed myself beginning to focus more on the message and animation quality, which I recognized as a defense mechanism at being caught off guard. I can see that as being intentional as well. The guro to me, I'm not really part of that crowd, so I don't know if it may have been a dual inside-message to the guro crowd to be wary, while also warning other otaku of how it can consume you, but the idea came across very powerfully, as the ending is tragic in multiple ways.
This is an awesome way of viewing this and strangely too familiar...

My wife and I watched this and talked it over. We were thinking that it's a representation of despair as a man tries to move through a relationship gone bad.
Porn and obsession over physical items are a biproduct of heartache that bring pleasure for a short period of time (the beginning of the video), but don't last and we are soon reminded of reality.
We drew the conclusion that it was about a man and woman who had a good relationship but she cheated on him (represented by three shadows) and he left her which turned her into a bitch. Even though he still has fond memories of their time together, represented by the innocent looking girl, they are ultimately engulfed in the reality of what she has become to him (the final scene). The video illustrates quite well the ups and downs of depression riddled with escapist porn and melancholy memories.
There's no denying the power of love and heartache, but in the end, reality is reality. Hearts heal eventually, we're only human.
I watched this with my girlfriend and we didn't even bother to draw as many conclusions because it's so goddamn awesome to just watch.
