Yukari Akiyama Endorses Brad Pitt’s “Fury”

The upcoming release of Hollywood war movie “Fury” in Japan has caught the attention of wary otaku thanks to narration by Girls und Panzer‘s adorable tank fanatic Yukari Akiyama.
While anime characters advertising live-action movies is rare enough, one in support of a foreign movie is all but unheard of – though the incentive is likely due to the use of M4 Sherman and Tiger tanks in the film, some of the mainstays of Girls und Panzer.
The CM for the film is so worth watching that Kadokawa has been busily expunging it from YouTube, though fans can still try their luck with TV or something:

Ordering tickets in advance will even grant buyers clear files emblazoned with official art of Kantai Collection, Strike Witches and Girls und Panzer – all glorious military-themed anime.

Oh Fury, where the phrase "they missed" is the only reason the writers had that that damn tank was not waxed in seconds like it should have been.
Understandable that this should happen. G.u.p. is being used as a tutorial for the game World of Tanks, and the makers of that game had a hand in "Fury"

Fuck 'Fury.' More anti-German garbage. They release around 3 movies of that nature every year.
You didn't even see the movie did you? They went extra miles to show that the protagonists in Furry are deeply flawed human beings who are no better than the enemies they're fighting.
