Nexon has announced a rather bizarre collaboration between its FPS Counterstrike Online and vastly popular titan slaying anime Shingeki no Kyojin, dumping the show’s physically impossible 3D Maneuver Gear and gruesome titans into the tactical shooter.
While not directly mentioned, it is implied that players will still be able to wield their firearms during this “mode” – sure to put quite a unique spin on Shingeki no Kyojin’s already original concept.
Perhaps it was Counterstrike’s immense popularity that influenced the collaboration, though the idea of combating titans with guns whilst catapulting through the air at least seems like a riveting venture.
The fearsome titans will roam the world of Counterstrike Online from November 5th to December 23rd, unfortunately with no indication of the event’s arrival on barbarian servers.
