It's looking pretty good so far.
I expected more shots from the vn.
Man... just how much money do these guys have budgeted to the fight scenes for this series and who are they holding ransom to pay for all of it?
Enough to buy a third world country.
But seriously, they have so much money left from the Fate/Zero Blu-Rays, they can waste it on sweeter animation.
Don't forget about the Kara no Kyoukai
these are proceeds from the holy grail wars...
They held Taiga-sensei as ransom to animate better.
They are drawing the Tiger-Dojo with crayons to make up for it.
BEWBS
this isn't a remake, it's actually part of the fate series i just found out haha. technically fate/stay night 2. Its just happening all over again in a parallel universe with some characters jumping in between to try and change 'Fates'
Fate stay has 3 routes for the 3 main girls each is basically different take on the same story.
Fate=Saber
Unlimited Blade Works=Rin
Heaven's Feel=Sakura
And this is the second animation of UBW. As said above, this route was animated in the form of a movie.
But it is a remake... of the UBW film done by Deen couple of years ago.
Watching that "movie" was like watching the highlights of a football match, rather than the entire match...
Most overrated series in recent memory even more so than garbage like SAO and Mahouka...
money talks.
only money can say whether something is overrated garbage or underrated treasure.
lol
U mad bro? Sorry there's not enough incest, mecha, and/or school clubs for you...
But there is dead loli in this one later.
Japan likes dead loli.
How many times can the same story be told.
It's a choose your own adventure novel... You know that right?
at least 3 times if they do the Sakura Route in the future.
Misaya Reiroukan >>>>>>>>>> Rin.
Manaka Sajyou >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Illyasviel von Einzbern alot.
I thought I was looking at video game footage there at first.
I've never gotten into FSN. Should I start watching this or should I watch the previous ones first?
The first series is decent whatever-wise but plot-wise it's a jigsaw puzzle.
The movie is decent action-wise but was just too short to show everything it was supposed to so plot-wise it's a jigsaw movie.
So just watch this one.
Watch Fate/Zero at least to see if you want to get into the series more; it's the prequel to all other various storylines, and the production values are far superior to the Fate/Stay night anime from 2006. I watched the 2006 anime first, but it's not really necessary to do it in order of release. But, it might hurt to go from the awesomeness of Fate/Zero to the mediocrity of the Fate/Stay Night anime if you watch it in that order.
Zero is supposed to be watched after F/sn story (-ies, actually). It happens before of course, but that's the narrative order. If you watch Zero and then happens to watch a Heaven's Feel (F/sn) adaptation that will probably arrive one day or another, you'll be spoiled the entire plot.
and also don't forget about that s/n and zero's authors are different, zero was kind a tribute for the s/n
S/N is the BEGINNING of Fate series
Dead Illya.... will they animate her death scene better?
Best answer: Play the FS/N game.
Other than that, Watch Fate Zero anime after this one.
2006 Anime was truly shit; skip.
nevermind the vn's first. Start watching fate zero then this. After that, go with the vn.
going with the vn first would hamper some of your enjoyment with the anime.
Based fucking ufotable... Unlimited Budget Works indeed.

Rin : "Archer, fire support"
Archer : "Firing NUKE cannon, Incoming in 5 sec"
Rin : "WTF Archer !!"
The show gave me the wrong impression that medieval warfare is ridiculously awesome with pikemen lunging at lightning-fast ridiculously-maneuverable airborne cavalry with heart-seeking pikes, columns of archers devastating the battlefield with nuclear arrows, and swordsmen gouging canyons with every strike of their blade.
That's imagination for ya
I think SOMEONE wanted to KILL other SOMEONE...
Pls get rid of all the boring pricks.
Bye
This series could've been so much better without all these fucking boys. I'd love to see Scorpion chopping Shirou's face off, Sub-Zero ripping Archer into two, and Raiden popping Gilgamesh's head off.
MY GOD is that the actual animation, god damn
Of course not, the gifs you see are all fan-made improvements of the original.

I liked the two previous episodes but this one episode was actually a disappointment: half of it is just a pure (and useless) invention for the anime adaptation, and this battle that should be energetic and fast is awfully damn long and slow. I was so bored, while it was one of my favorite moment in the visual novel.
Pretty effects don't make an entertaining fight alone, don't do that again Ufotable.
I actually like the added scenes, im looking forward to new content.
