    1. big wow at people calling her and others "disfigured". wtf is wrong with you? I guess you don't know what real disfigured people look like...
    2. I really hate it whenever I read threads called "Person X looks just like person Y" (IMDB is full of that shit, and almost never is there any resemblance -_-). But this case is ok, as there is a similarity in looks.
    3. Whoa, the first couple of pics really got me. Her nose and eyes (especially the bags under them) are really similar. Seeing how Uchida did gravure stuff before her seiyuu career, this was actually a possibility. But the later pics don't look much like her.
    4. So~ people are hung up on comparing their looks... there is an easier and more definite way of finding out the truth: get the video and listen to her VOICE <-- you know how Uchida Maaya is a seiyuu, with a kinda unique voice? How could people not compare their voices???
    5. Be it her or not, that lady looks nice and it seems worth looking deeper into it^^
    6. I really like Maaya and if this were true it'd destroy her career most likely. Though I wouldn't like it, it'd still be an interesting scandal and even bigger than Hirano's band thing. Maybe some seiyuu I dislike could cause such a scandal?^^
    7. Having seen Uchida at the GJbu live event, I can't imagine her doing porn (especially after seeing her cry during the graduation song and "thank you"), but I don't doubt that she and most other women in the business might/do have sexual relationships/experience. "Pure girls/women" are just a fantasy, a business strategy, or purely imagination on part of the fans lol

    I think you raise a lot of good points and I more or less agree with all of them, especially the one about pure girls/woman not existing in real life, because, let's face it, humans are intensely sexual creatures. How many other creatures do you know that engage in and enjoy such a wide variety of sexual acts and/or fantasies? From oral to vaginal to anal, gangbangs, homosexuality, bestiality, necrophilia, pedophilia, BDSM, from reverse cowgirl to missionary, I don't think there is any other creature on this planet as intensely sexual as humans are.

    All normal and healthy human beings want to have sex. No exceptions. The idea that they would not want sex and/or actively seek it out is frankly ridiculous, and the idea that such an attractive and obviously desirable young woman has not had sex yet is highly unlikely.

    Well you also have to remember that there are asexual people in the world (I think). I'm not asexual nor have I even met anyone that I know is asexual, so I can't say for sure if they /never/ have the desire to have sex.

    I'm sure there's some scientific study on asexuality, but I agree with you in that humans by nature are sexual creatures. I would think that even asexual people have those desires SOMETIMES.

    What you're born with is just potential. Yes, some are born with more but in the end what matters most is actually cultivating it. Someone with no natural affinity for say drawing will still be better than a natural born artistic genius who never even bothers to try. As for no access to higher education, well, some of the most successful people are high school dropouts/have no formal education, they're just self taught. If you want something badly enough you'll find a way.
