I guess you missed the part where it's also listed as "guro", which translates (easily) to "gore". Meaning this episode is out of the norm for it. Otherwise, I might have checked it out myself.
Not mutually exclusive. If the guro is limited to the battles and other plot-relevant "serious" scenes than I don't have too much problems with it. It's when rape-y stuff like nonconsensual bondage is depicted as cute and funny where I draw the line.
