Macross‘s long overdue new season has at last been unveiled, tentatively being titled “Macross Delta” and sure to excite long-time fans of the mecha-idol franchise.
Macross’s tendency to provide a musically talented heroine with each new season has also seemed to stay in tact, as an event is currently underway in search of the “utahime” who will head the series – which was previously also won in a contest by Megumi Nakajima.
Further details on the event will arrive December – though more attentive fans have already noticed that the new series will apparently take place in 2067, 8 years after the events of Macross Frontier.

Pardon me guys, but reading of the △ has yet to be officially clarified. It could be Delta or possibly Triangle (Triangler maybe?). Hell it can even something bizarre as “Macross Turn Triangle” (a la “Gundam Turn A”).

But the real problem is the fucking male main protas, Basara sucks, Alto sucks, Hibiki sucks, and Shin sucks, only Isamu from M. Plus is the best main prota of a Macross saga.
