Time travel thriller Steins;Gate has teamed up with IBM to promote “Cognitive Computing,” what they dub their “next-generation computer research initiative” – using some charming anime shorts as a form of advertisement.
The first animated short entitled, “Cooking”:
There are plans for 4 animated shorts in total, with each attempting to inform the viewer of the astonishing benefits of computers and how they can aid in simplifying life.
As watchers of Steins;Gate may already know, IBM played a rather important plot role – making for an unusually fitting collaboration for once.

Watched it yesterday.
It was fun.
Awesome!
Awesome!!
It's kind of weird for our Mad scientist to not question futuristic A.I, holo screen and bot itself.
Because cocknitive cumputing.
"They" got him.
El. Ψ. Congroo!
Kinda wishing they did more with this series now...
Came for tuturu~ was not disappointed.

Most people don't know that John Titor is a real myth. More people don't know that he is real and not only a myth. And yes he is still posting on the internet and more.
Err at this point there's probably like 2 million people copying that name. I wouldn't look into that.
Yeah and i'm not looking into the fakes. It's not like i'm stupidly listening to anyone. I don't know where you are on the internet but i only have seen one obvious fake who made fun of it.
You are just implying without reason that i look into fakes.
Oh, right, you don't "look into fakes". But how the hell are you supposed to know who is and who isn't a fake? Sounding legit can be done by a troll with minimal effort.
Exactly right 12:37. I hate to sound like an ass but in this day and age you have no idea who is the genuine John Titor.
Dat Everett Interpretation is a bitch
don't know about that. I know johntitor com and I saw that numbers page nobody seems to know what they mean (I think those are the deviations of the world line numbers for time travelers to get their bearing).
What I'm actually scared off: June 2015.
I got the PS3 game of this recently, it came with a replica of Okabes phone. A bit pricey but the series is amazing. They really should do more with it a new original series, perhaps with an alternate version of Okabe instead would be fun. Change things and events around a bit.
Oh, you mean something like "Senkei Kousoku no Phenogram" or "Fuka Ryouiki no Déjà vu" VNs? Not to mention "The Committee of Antimatter" light novel being released in January.
Yup, it has been released on like every imaginable platform in Japan, including the PSP, Vita, 360, PS3 etc.

is a little odd that an american company would team up with a japanese anime company of all things...
Nope, not at all.
In this day and age, we're more globalised than ever with Maori hakas being performed in the states, cheap Indian cuisine on the streets, and even you at home watching your Chinese cartoons on a screen. What once separated cultures by thousands of kilometres and is now a click away.
Businesses know that they have a global customer base and it's basic marketing strategies to appeal to them. IBM isn't tied down to the Americas and neither is Nitroplus stuck to Japan (and thank goodness for that!).
no ( . ) ( . ) news today?
