New Lupin III Anime Announced

World renowned thief Lupin III has made his coveted TV return with a brand new anime, sure to bear all the intense action, retro styling and sexy escapades that the series is recognized for.
The new season will bring Lupin’s gang to the Italian Republic of San Marino, where they will doubtless be the initiators of some dastardly thieving:
More observant (or OCD afflicted) fans have also discovered that Lupin’s signature coat has once again shifted in color, this time becoming blue as opposed to the first season’s green, the 2nd season’s red and the 3rd season’s pink.
The anime will debut first in Italy to coincide with its setting before inevitably hitting Japan, but other than that little else has been revealed concerning the new season’s plot or direction.

Look at the sharp inclination of Lupin's eyebrows and how he's actually using his gun (is the scale on that thing right?); will Lupin get to have some edge again after the fairly toothless and otherwise awful TV specials of the past several years?
The Fujiko TV series was a previous recent exception to that, though.

His color this time is BLUE so it will be something we haven't seen before.

I just hope Funimation doesn't get this one for dubbing, they've been doing the trend of saying the names wrong as of late. Its really annoying.
Funimation also uses the same few voice actors in every show they do. They need a proper budget. Dallas Texas has more than 5 people who dub shit.

If it's anywhere near as good as A Woman Named Fujiko Mine, I'll be happy. Honestly, they should just get the same gal that directed that and Michiko to Hatchin to handle it.
