We all know for sure that only working with one title per season is a good factor.
Kyoani not do 3rd party job. Done most of their job in house. One series per season. And made it in advance a long time before air time.
That's why they can keep quality over another studio.
On the contrast if SHAFT. Most chaotic studio ever.

Simple: They only show working themselves to near death. There is only one reported case of an animator suiciding due to working conditions. But workers working to near death aren't uncommon.
