Feudal era anime Akatsuki no Yona has intrigued the masses with a rather adorable Hime-sama as well as its deceptive writing, initially delivering a cute and charming atmosphere before hastily shifting to a more dark and sinister tone – a shady technique that may very well aid in drawing more potential watchers.

Oh my god Boys Love ! :3 The boys are so cute ! hugs
I want less love comedy and more blood and killing
What makes her adorable? The fact that everyone in the anime says she's cute? She's the kind of person I would loathe in real life - vapid, self-indulgent, clueless, and aggravating to be around. Puppies and kittens can get away with that, not spoiled and pampered teenagers.
I also like how utterly useless the "general" is. His entire purpose in the anime was to not realize obvious mischief was afoot and then sweep in and save little miss "I love my cousin".
Frankly I was rooting for the villain. He was the only one there who wasn't a complete waste of flesh.
It's ok, you just need to tell someone you're being molested by your uncle, and all this anger will eventually go away, talking with someone helps.
Or maybe you're just a terrible human being? Ever considered that?
Eh, she was bad, but not really worse than the others. At least they TRIED to show us how she was sheltered and all (though it didn't really work: why did her dad not give a fuck about her being rightly traumatized by mother's death? He seemed to be actually caring and all.)
Idea of the anime was interesting if not exactly original*: the absolute void of ALL the characters was what made me drop it.
*=did they ever do a fucking anime/manga about pseudo-medieval princesses being, well, princesses? Doing politics, having to manage appereance and actual administration of the kingdom/royal household and shit? Not turning it into swords and possibly sorcery? Because I'd watch that.
And no, Soredemo Sekai had too much of that (and ove the top love triangles). The closest one I could think is that Juuni Kokuki part when Yoko had to learn how to actually run a fucking kingdom, but it was mostly fantasy adventure. Awesome fantasy adventure, but still.
Not a princess but Kingdom has that situation where one of the heroes has to spend his time dealing with palace intrigue.
A girl traveling with a hot boyba- wait, they're not a boyband? OH! Damn I thought this was shounen hollywood...
Guess I'll wait in line for these doujins. It's what this show is for, right?
