The animation studio got it right. If you've played the game the backgrounds also have the exact same season. Most likely if you are going by period of month its a script error from the game not a background problem. So yup. This looks awesome so far. I have no problem.
Fuyuki city is supposedly inspired in Kobe, which is less snowy/rainy than Tokyo.

This is pretty much the same as the opening for FSN when you first play the game. It opens with a prologue from Rin's point of view.
It ends exactly before the point where it will be headed for FATE route or UBW route. (FATE route: Saber injure Archer and Rin use her second CS to pull Archer out, UBW route Shirou stops Saber before she attacks Archer)
I haven't seen the tv version yet, but it seems to be from Rin's perspective(?).
Its how the original game started. When you first start the game you get rins perspective. Then you see Shiro's. Which is why its Labeled episode 0.
Considering the prologue in the VN is in Rin's perspective, and this is the Prologue episode, yes.
The perspective will change when the actual series start, Shirou is still the MC.

Rin and Caster fight was pretty lame in the movie, Rin wasn't as impressive as in the VN.
The Amount of Rin in this is precisely what this show needs. I 100% approve.
Also reminder that Rin has been declared the unequivocal main heroin of the FSN series. NASU CONFIRMS it himself.

The guy is pretty inconsequent regarding his stuff.
Just look how many times he was asked about the powers of certain characters or who is the strongest or who beats who in a fight and the result is always something else and contradicting previously established events.

Well, it must be pressure from the fanbase. He is probably trying to make everyone happy by saying their favorite character is stronger than others.
For me, for example, Archer's/Shiro's UBW beats even Ryougi's MEoDP. Badassery in my eyes triumphs concepts.
Pretty sure that he meant the main heroine of this anime. Considering Heaven's Feel is the canon path of FSN, it is pretty much certain Sakura is the main heroine.

Sorry to break it to you but this long episode was the prologue of the story and like in the visual novel it was from Rin's perspective and like in the visual novel we'll probably switch to Shirou's perspective in the next episode.
If that's the case I hope they keep the sex scenes too then!

You guys are forgetting the movie was done by Studio Deen(crap studio). This is done by Ufotable. Remember Fate/Zero done by Ufotable? They had sex scenes or at least Sakura molested by bugs and a silhouette scene of those children getting raped/mutilated by that fucked up master/servant pair. Ufotable has as good chance of keeping the sex scenes in it, except maybe with silhouettes.
Dunno about the sex scenes.
They already hinted at the cg dolphins in this episode.
I mean, they had rape in Kara no Kyoukai and a whole lot of fucked up shit in Fate/Zero. Then again, they could just end up using Realta Nua's changes.
