It looks awful, "Animation" looks to be about 2~4 frames and the gif itself looks horrible. Why not just have a gif overlay? The kanji and furigana aren't even reconisable!

that being said, its just too bad none of the modern animation formats (apng, mng, etc) took off due to open source vs proprietary bitching among other things and webm just plain sucks.
