The manga is pretty good but the whole concept and the inception for the series is deeply uninspiring. They literally told the mangaka "make a character ensemble workplace comedy set in a bookstore". The characters are all archetypes and generally named for the archetype, the harem/relationship elements are... idiotic and the whole thing rips off Working!!! without including any of the quirkiness. Very derivative but still worth reading.

This looked like a pretty terrible show. Crucially, it bills itself as a comedy but there was only once or twice I just chuckled at it. I'm not going to even give this the benefit of three episode rule.
