Nisekoi Season 2 Unveiled

A 2nd season for yakuza love comedy Nisekoi has been announced, sure to deliver more of its romcom hilarity to eager fans despite Shaft working its namesake magic on the anime’s BD releases.
The news was confirmed by way of the 14th volume of its associated manga:
Currently there is no date not much in the way of other details – and while Shaft’s deplorable decision to “improve” the show’s BDs may still have some fans annoyed, it has done little to hamper the desperate urge of some toward redirecting their negative energy into gratuitous art:

For those anime fans of this out there, prepare to be displeased, cause the story after the Play arc turns into complete and utter shit.
Prepare yourselves for a tidal wave of fillers and zero plot development.
FIrst season had almost virtually little to no fillers. Plus the manga is pretty far along.
Plenty of material for another solid 12-13 episodes of all manga adaptation with virtually 0 filler again.
Definitely worth the purchase for those looking for it here in the US ^ ^

I take it you haven't read the manga? It is pretty much filler with zero progress/character development at all, from roughly where the anime first season stopped. That is why it will be filler, not because there aren't enough to adopt.
Filler = Anime Original content used to make up for lack of source material
Satonaka is right in that there were almost 0 filler scenes at all. Whether the manga in itself is made of content you consider non essential to the plot just to pass the time is a different story altogether.
Fillers are normally episodes with no plot progression. They don't have to be originals.
I'm not going to discuss word definition(we would have to discuss, where you put a beach episode, if it is an original anime), so instead let me say it like this, there are no different between what you call for filler and what season 2 will be made of. If someone haven't read the source material, they will see second season as pretty much all fillers episodes.
And it is not that I consider it none essential, they are none essential filler chapter the mangka made between arc. Next arc is another new girl, that start 25 chp after amime ending, so if season 2 is 12 episodes we wont even get that, so yeah completely none essential both in plot and character development and progression.
Yeah, that's kind of what I was expecting too, even though I haven't read the manga. But hopefully we'll at least get some decent fanservice (before it gets censored on Blu-Ray) and tsundere blushing scenes.
