    They won't even localize it. But honestly, it's not because of the sexy bits, it's because they didn't even localize the last Fatal Frame on the Wii, even after much pleading. They just don't think a Fatal Frame game will sell, or something. But then again they did bring over the 3DS spinoff... so who knows.

    they conformed that it is a 'Japan only title' on their twitter account. And seeing how Nintendo reacted to Senran Kagura Burst on the 3DS; after seeing the above images, I can see why they don't want to release it in the west.

    Damn shame, the game is nice and the service is an 'extra', just how they should make their games :-(

    Sexuality has become demonized in the west recently. Apparently if we have sexy girls in our games/movies/comics it means women have feel degraded by looking at them (and it will teach men to degrade women) and they'll never have any interest in them. *shrug* Could have fooled me *keeps playing the sexy games she's been playing for almost 20 years now*

    A true shame. The first 3 Fatal Frame games were some of the best Survival Horror games made for the PS2... And extras aside, this looks like it will provide the same

Beyond the fact that they actually allowed it to release in North America, although only as a download in the eshop, and never indicated that they had any problem with it, I've never heard of any other reaction from Nintendo after that.

    NOM put a blog post asking people to boycott it, as for the store, you can locate it if you knew about it. From what I read, it was never listed the same way that new games are listed in the online store.

    Either way, I bought 3 physical copies of Senran Kagura Burst after reading their blog post. Gota support the game :-)

    @21:48 - one bigot doesn't represent all of Nintendo in the slightest... sure Nintendo didn't promote it the way they're promoting Bayonetta 2 right now (seriously, it's hard to believe it's still M rated after all the promotion it's been getting, it's like it's a new zelda game or something), but the fact that they released it at all in the west was a huge step beyond anything they've allowed in the past (besides BMX XXX having nudity exclusive to a nintendo console). On top of that it opened the door for more Senran Kagura games in the future. Crazy to think there was a time when we thought we'd never ever get an SK game here.

    You're making a lot of assumptions here based on some apparent ignorance. Are you even familiar with Fatal Frame? Outfits like these are only available after doing something difficult to unlock them. Although there's never been an outfit this sexy in past games (the Zero Suit Samus suit in FF4 came closest). But still, the main game has you playing only with very conservative outfits so it's not like this is another Oneechanbara or something.

    And funny, after all the complaining about how Nintendo never did anything "adult" and was always too "kiddy", now that they do they still get shit for it. Game fans have been sounding more and more like biased opposition parties over the past decade. When and why the hell did game fandom ever have to turn into politics? Anyways, although this is exclusive to a Nintendo platform it was developed by Koei-Tecmo, not by any Nintendo division.

    This game is using Team Ninja's physics that's used in DOA5 btw. Besides making the characters look awesome, it also allows characters and their clothes to look wet when they get wet and gives the breasts jiggle physics (although set on a low setting). Ayane's also gonna be in it, but only after you beat the game.

    As for this costume, it's news to me (for once, wow SanCom!) but I'm a little worried at the backlash this is gonna get... dammit, why can't the whole world just be happy with sexy things when we get them? Then we could finally end wars and have world peace (but apparently that would actually horrify many people).
