so if the people that did that did Gundam or Macross it would be very good
I don't like Japanese live actions because its scripts are too "Japanese" when played by actors/actresses, unlike the more "sterile" animes' scripts when voiced by seiyuus.
I don't like them because live action butcher the story and remove important points and character.

ACtually, if its done well by the Japanese, then it might succeed. Death note and Rurouni Kenshin passes. But live-action usually hollywood steals this opportunity and then = fail. Any game/anime from Japan that America decides to make a live action or CGI movie from, always fails. DOE, Dragonball, Astroboy, Final Fantasy: Spirits within. Need I go on?
But fellas, there's gonna be more upcoming fails that would make you wanna throw a brick and the production companies and tell them to f*ck off.

Hikaru no Go wouldn't be bad. I'd say Legend of the Galactic Heroes....but then we're talking a 8-10 movie franchise to not screw up.
In the west in order for anything to succeed you have to make a porno version of it first, I don't know why it works it just does.

Monster is the only one I think might be really good. Although that's already in the works.
Why would you want an anime made into live-action? Maybe a slice of life show with no fantasy elements but IMO those shows are trash and defeat the purpose of watching anime.

#14: There WAS a live action Gundam movie. It's called G-Saviour, a 2000 Canadian made for TV movie shot with the budget of an average 30 minute episode of a TV series at the time. Most people liked to forget it existed until the G-Saviour got cut down by a Hyaku Shiki in a cameo in Gundam Build Fighters last year.
