I really wish someone besides Wave would do Railgun figures like this. I just think Wave are a god awful company, someone like Good Smile doing an Uiharu figure would have me dropping whatever price they ask on it in a heartbeart.
How do they make these especially the eyes?
A few years ago I remember being on the Good Smile Company site and linking to a brief video of how an average type figure is painted and detailed. I believe the eyes were created with a pre-painted stamp method which creates nearly perfect results each time with little effort. I recommend checking out the video if you can find it - it really gives a person greater appreciation for the work that goes into them.

Can someone explain the fascination of these items to a figma collector like myself? So far, the only things I see are:
-Expensive
-Large
-Highly detailed

I'm a figma collector as well. For myself, I think it all has to do with how nicely dynamic a pose is before I throw money down for it. If the pose doesn't impress enough, my wallet will thank me. =)
