This show seems a lot like Valvrave. Lots of action, the characters are inconsistent, illogical and mostly incompetent and the plot has holes big enough to drive a space station/Landing Castle through.
Also, anyone declaring characters dead without a funeral or medical declaration obviously doesn't know anime; it's worse than soap operas for reviving the dead. They'll be back, and yet somehow for no reason Slaine and Rayet will make a magical transformation from incompetent, annoying fuckups into competent and responsible characters too. THAT'S the real unbelievable plot hole here.

They're already competent characters, they just have issues, that is all. And resolving and overcome issues arent magical transformation, its called character developments. Next time, please dont jump on the hate train and use your head to think. Slaine up to very the end, IS consistent. Between one guy he knows want princess dead, and one guy who are using princess and doing god-know-what-else to her, it ain't that hard of a choice. Better the enemy you knows than the one you not.

how can anyone like Inaho..he was just a plot device to go to point A to point B. Every other single soldier in the show is incompetent,even the generals. it's like Inaho was the only character to ever pay attention to any of the military training.he shows no emotion at all and only near the end did he show emotion.not to mention it was his fault the war was prelonged because he wanted to have a complete win against the venusians. personally I'm glad he's dead.

In the latest interview with Urobuchi for Episode 12, He said that if he was the one writing it, both Inaho and Asellyum survives, but with the latter taken by Slaine.
So, Urobuchi's spirit? Nope.
