An announcement concerning popular titan-slaying anime Shingeki no Kyojin has revealed that the upcoming 15th and 16th volumes of its manga will each be bundled with a one episode OAD (for two episodes in total) intended to elaborate on Levi’s backstory, covering the content of the light novel and manga before it – with a short trailer also now available to pump up viewer anticipation.
The promising trailer:
The 15th volume is dated for arrival December 9th, while the 16th will be released April 9th.
Further news on the progress of season 2 however is conspicuously absent…

At first I am only attracted to SnK cos of its gore but quickly got tired of it cos apparently the mangaka seems to lack an idea of what/how he wanted the story to progress.
But after the popularity of the anime, the latest arc turns out to be almost no giant fighting and having a lot more depth.
So it seems that gaining fame has the positive effect of letting a mangaka having the freedom of deciding his creativity instead of conforming to the publishers desires.
Oh sweet, levi’s manga got an OAD adaptation.
Ah man its going to be great seeing how that show level being a badass, even when he was younger.
