Lovely Fate spinoff Prisma Illya 2wei! has ended on a high note with one last tantalizing bout of justice-bringing magical girl combat – and of course not being so remiss as to forget its staple service elements and charm, in addition to announcing a 3rd season (Prisma Illya 2wei Herz – due 2015) for those still lusting for more mahou shoujo action.

Generally, it's either Japanese, just really tan, or some kind of Pacific islander. Black and hispanic are usually offensively obvious. As for Kuro specifically, I don't know if you can really say for sure, since she's a variant version of a homunculus based upon a Germanic template, but I always got an Indian feel from her design.

If you can't find subs, then you are not looking very hard. Fansubs will always exist, even if they require more than 1 click to get to.

I'd go for Crunchyroll, but they really only do mainstream stuff, so selection is out of my hands (and also restrict based on location unless I spoof).
Plus, I dont like streaming services, I'd rather have all my faves backed up somewhere - instead of seeing them vanish from the roster the way they do on CR.

lol, i use CR but I don't pay for it. I just wait a week for the epi to be available for free. well, technically a month or two until I find some time to sit and watch, but yeah there are a few fansubs that sub it better, or just learn jp to not really need the subs.
got hulu? watch it there (not sure if this show is there, yet, but tons of other anime are), and alas, on the roku there are tons of free (and paid) anime channels you can watch from. now I just watch the series tv stream and get the BD fansubs if the show is worth it, and Original DVD/BD Copy if available or Extremely worth it!
I don't see why anyone would pay for Crunchyroll when Horriblesubs rip all their stuff in 1080p shortly after their website is updated.

It never used to be done on purpose. I've seen old character concept drawings and reference drawings where the artist purposely draws the eyes through the hair but then says something like "don't make hair transparent, for reference purposes only!", but sometimes it seems it did slip into the anime by accident. My theory is that while it originated that way some artists thought it was cool and purposely put it into their style eventually.
