The problem with this mentality is that YOU are now responsible for burying the bad apples in your own gender/sect/etc. Will you do it? Will you go around burying the truly foul misogynists you see, or the truly despicable people of your social class/race/etc? If not, then you certainly don’t have the right to tell others they can’t hide from that responsibility the same way you are.
