No you’re not. Only retarded Amurricans think so. Prison is for rehabilitation and reintegration into society. For reference, check how fucked up the US prison system is (prison as an industry, highest prison population in the world, etc.). Then compare Norways system, for example, which is all about what I just mentioned and works almost perfectly.
