put on a crappy mask and suddenly nobody realize who you are...
Actually since the episode 3 both parties have started suspecting who each other is, just like in the manga.
Taxedo Mask here already recognizes her as sailor moon during that dance scene since he saw her transform in the last episode
The mask is fine. It's not actually transparent, no matter how it is shown otherwise.
Superman was even worse. What would do Clark Kent if his glasses get dirty and have to remove them for cleaning?
Use X-Ray vision?
Superman: Master of disguise
He'd have to slick his hair back to though, everyone knows that once you slick your hair back you become a different person.
That's why I like that Snyder gave the impression that Lois Lane knew that Clark was Super Man in the last scene of Man of Steel. There's no way in hell she wouldn't recognize him after all that intimate contact earlier in the movie.
Huh? Lol but she found out that it was Clark Jent that was helping iut all thise people with his powers, and it was Louis, in Man of Steel, that gave him the name Superman, she knew all along.
Well done for realizing, it's called a Masquerade Ball. Something that has been done for hundreds, if not more years in the world.
Well done for not realizing, That he was talking about Tuxedo Mask wearing his mask even out of the party.
Tuxedo Mask didn't put the mask on for the party, that was already his look.
I assume he was talking about Tuxedo Mask, which he didn't just wear the mask at that party. Fail troll.
Although it's hard to tell this early in the series it looks like they are shying away from that forced stupidity that keeps people ignorant of secret identities.
In the manga, they figured out eachothers identities relatively early so I imagine Crystal will be the same. It was the 90s anime that was really dumb about it and had them all I WONDER??? for ages and ages.
If only this series never had pricks especially that goddamn tuxedo asshat from the very beginning, it would've been the best. Precure, Pretty Rhythm, and Jewelpet, would've been inspired by that and been even better. SM is just trash compared to Nanoha and Madoka.
Tuxedo Asshat. . hahahaha oh man that killed me lol
It was originally a story geared towards girls, you're watching an emo chik's anime, and complaining that it has a male love interest that wears a tuxedo.
They say Hypedoka? .....HAHAHAHAHAHA.....Nanoha is ok but Hypedoka??? hahahahah this snoobs otakus of this days lol.
what is it with otaku and feeling threatened by 2D men? You cant enjoy an anime unless its exclusively women, just so you can feel like you have no competition?
How is that not the saddest shit to exist? Face it, the 2D girls would sooner date some generic faceless guy in a crowd scene than you.
This. This is why I can't stand anime that have a weak, obnoxious asshole as a protagonist just so the poor spineless japanese ota's can self-insert. Ruins many of a story that would've been decent otherwise...
Are you the same guy that complained about Tuxedo Mast before?
Original Sailor moon is an anime made for girls of the 90s; while madoka or nanoha are animes made for fat lolicon otakus of nowadays.
There are no clearly better or worse animes in the examples you mentioned, only different animes targeted to different demographics.
I would agree 100% for nonoha, but madoka?? wtf? What in it appeals so strongly to fat lolicon otaku? The moe loli antics? The onsen episode? The nudity? ... oh wait.
You know, I have no problem admiring that Madoka appeals to lolicon. It doesn't detract from what it is.
How is Madoka a lolicon show? There's virtually no fanservice. And at least half of Madokas fanbase are female.
Nanoha appeals to dudes mostly because its a shounen type magical girl series. If you take out the nudey transformation scenes, it again wouldn't be much of a lolicon series if that.
Madoka is not a classical mahous shoujo anime for little girls. It's dark, sad and cruel. I think is targeted for fat adult otakus (lolicon or not).
Pwned! In da face!
How envious of you.
Someone needs to tell Princess D about contact lenses
Huh. They're doing a pretty good job keeping to the Manga art style for an animated show, too.
Nope.
Nope?are you blind or just plain stupid?
This was part of the childhood of lots of boys and girls alike in America, since it aired on every weekday morning and afternoon for the better part of a decade. A shame it's just a "nostalgia anime," for those adults in this era, since the internet and an inundation of manga and anime makes Sailor Moon a lot less special than it felt in the 90s. I can't imagine this series having the same impact it did even if a kid were to watch it from beginning to finish.
I just hope the story diverts from the original and brings new stuff / stories and not a rehash
It's a adaption of the manga, of course it will include the same stuff as there.
Oh the 90s, the kissing a unconscious girl wasn't considered rape..
You can thank the "feminists" for that.
This has yet to disappoint me. The animation is excellent. Love the opening. The flow of the episode is perfect there no lagging in the story. And on a Minor note about this episode in particular is that you can actually SEE the statue Princess D is showing. I could never make it out in the original series. And Tuxedo Kamen was a perv kissing Sailor moon while she was out like that! lol
deko-beam~~
Too pinky to my taste.
its so sweet im getting cavities..
lol, fucking hate Saturday morning English dubs, they're so damn bad.
English voice acting in anime is awful anyway, there are only a few good voice actors that do anime, and they are reused over and over that thier voices quickly get annoying. It got to the point that i just started watching subbed, i read them subconsciously now so i dont really miss anything trying to read anymore.
Yeah English voice acting is awful, I've been watching subbed for a few years now, and I've started to read subconsciously, so I don't miss anything.
A lot of those type dubs are done in Vancouver. Blame Canada.
I've always thought only spaniards (the inhabitants of spain, the european ones, because spain is in europe, not in south america) complain all the time about poor quality or foreign accent of the spanish dubs made outside of spain (I.E. Mexico or Argentina). There are real flame wars between mexicans defending their dub and spaniards defending their dub on the comments of every single video of "the simpsons" on youtube.
But now I see the problem of poor quality or foreign accent of the dubs is pretty much universal for al languages. And I can only say... "I know that feel bro"
BTW, the best simpsons dub is the original dub; and the best simpsons spanish dub is the spain dub, for one single and simple reason: The respect for the original names (They don't use Homero, Bartolomeo or Clancy Górgory instead of Homer, Bart or Clancy Wiggum like Mexicans Do).
if it weren't because all the characters looks anorexic I would watch the show. But seriously, what were they thinking?
Did you ever look at the manga, or?
