A cute new spin-off series for the rather ineptly produced idol-life anime Wake Up Girls has been announced entitled “Wake Up Girls Zoo” (“gal-zoo!”), chibifying its cast of lovely idols as they don their signature animal kigurumi for some short duration mini episodes – much in the same vein as Idolmaster’s Puchimas side-series.
Some more acerbic commentators have noted that the animal costumes may at last be a way of telling the cast apart from one another…
The anime will debut via its official website this September.

Yamakan's own version of Puchimas, huh? Looks good and cute.
I dunno, Puchimasu feels a tad better; they got their own quirks and act like pokemon. This one's just look like they simply chibified the characters and stuff them into animal suits. Will watch first for verdict.
