Romance-heavy Glasslip has delivered a glass-shatteringly dramatic episode, working its romance theme harder than ever before and even turning up the aggression dial as the conflict reaches its boiling point – and with the show’s namesake glass working seemingly written out completely.

Enough with the goddamn punkass boys and crappy Korean romance. This anime sucks ass compared to the likes of Locodol and Hanayamata.
So, don't watch it...?
Glasslip is a romance, the other two anime that you listed aren't. You clearly want to watch something with a light-hearted plot and something akin to a harem, so why sit here and bitch about anything different to your preferences?
why? eause the girls in this like boys, while in the anime you mentioned has no boy-girl romance?
If I have time, why not watch them all. Still, SAO - no, thank you.
What is the difference between this thing and the rubbish you affirm that is better? If all these things are cheap and poorly made chinese cartoons, with ridiculous and unimaginative plots.
This rubbish gets worse year by year.
uhhh if u don't like true tear, then I guess u wouldn't be able to enjoy this one as well
This show is arguably the biggest letdown of the season.
No, that would be Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance. This a close second though.
We're reaching Railwars level crappiness here.
Rail Wars has boobs. This does not.
A solid argument.
here here
But the thing is I can enjoy Railwars, while this just hurts my brain from looking at the screencaps.
I can't sde how anyone can like Railwars period. It's just as bad, if not worse than this.
People still watch Glasslip? Why?
Because Lips.
For chickens and kawaii desu Touko ofc
For best girl, Ribbons.
those are real ears, you dumbass
For Jonathan.
People talk about glasslip on this site, but don't even acknowledge zankyou no terror? Because this site, that's why.
The FBI is watching you masturbate, Nick.
i fap all the time
People still watch SAO? Why?
Mother of god Japanese men are beta as fuck. There is no such thing as a special girl or soulmate. Truth is the more status and power you have the more hotter girls will get with you. The more you keep an alpha frame the less chance the girl will cheat.
Romance is fake and annoying.
FFS it's a show featuring youth who don't even have experience with relationships, and here you are saying they should be going around being players.
so edgy.
Life must be so sad and pretentious were you live...
This show is so boring.
Those siblings are dicks.
Liking the show so far, can't wait to see how it ends
needs more fisting
Needs more entertainment of any kind.
NOT ENOUGH GLASS
Indeed. I was expecting a show about glass making (as the promo lead is to believe), not another teenage romance show.
Am i the only one who doesent understand this? Locodol i gave up after ep 3 idk its all cute and innocent like all the other k'on copies ive been watching glassslip since ep 1 till current not because its better its because i still dont understand whats going on. A group of friends wants to stay together and then some invader shes up with precognition powers and everything gets fd up, in one of the slowest shot by shot anime ive ever seen. And please sum1 tell me why the birds are flying in the air but not moving. Its as if there flying in place.
I enjoy this show.I want to know what the ending gonna be.
A penguin says congratulations.
Screw you guys, I'm gonna watch this.
How about you stop being retards and go watch and enjoy shows YOU like instead of being a fucking kid and cry about it here on sancom.
It must be so hard for you if there is shows out there you don't like watching.
But seriously, what do you get by bicthing about all the little things?
Trust me.
It is so much easier when you see something you don't like and say "Meh" out loud and move on.
You Don't spend your time, you don't upset anyone.
I don't like Free! but i don't want to waste my time by crying a river, JUST because I don't like it.
Anyways, I'll watch this show and see if it is any good.
Best anime of the year so far. A classic from Nishimura Junji (Simoun, True Tears). Not that Locodol and Hanayamata aren't enjoyable in their ways. But they are at a much lower level than this show esthetically, dramatically, and even in animation, background, and soundscape.
One slight error in your review: the glass work was not written out. It was prominent at the beginning of the episode, when Toukou got up early, having not slept a wink, to go and make something in the glass foundry. Who was it for? One guess will do.
They only include a minute of glass-making per episode just to stay true to the namesake with an added plot device of the protagonist using glass as her psychic medium.
This has nothing on Simoun, which at least couched its pretention in some scifi. But I'll agree that it's on par with True Tears, and is just as overrated.
