Nintendo and Tecmo Koei’s upcoming controversial game collaboration Hyrule Musou is due to be released in a few weeks, and with its initial roster being finalized, many fans have noticed the game’s strikingly high female to male character ratio:

Hyrule Warriors comes in the form of yet another hack-n-slash Dynasty Warriors game, exclusive to the Nintendo Wii U and featuring a full dredge of characters from past franchises…

The controversy I think is not the female cast but that they are making a Dynasty Warriors game using the Legend of Zelda license, and that is what people are up in arms or at least confused about. Though I think it's neat.

I'm beginning to suspect that Cia might not be the main villain in this game.
More likely, she's being controlled by the true main villain by using her feelings for Link to his/her advantage to gain enough power to rule all of Hyrule.
I only hope Link and Zelda realize this and try to free her from his/her control.

The voices on some of the characters seem kind of off from their original games. Midna in particular. Shes kinda one of the reasons I might actually get the game is why I noticed. Her voice her is kinda more boyish and doesnt have nearly as many impish giggles as it should. Also wish it was loli ruto, partly because loli but also because adult ruto only pops up in ocarina for a single cutscene whereas you do a full dungeon with loli ruto. Just seems like a kinda odd choice but I guess it is a game about killing massive waves of enemies and an adult zora would likely be more capable of such a feat.
Is that a desperation act to sell some Wii U?
